Some pictures of what we got up to on Friday when it was raining!
We spent a brief moment outside exploring the yard in its wet condition, the children spent time jumping and splashing about in the puddles. They wanted to take a big photo altogether!
We also used a recycled cardboard box to create a ‘cave’. Children used paint to decorate the inside and outside of the box.
Extending upon our colour mixing, children used droppers and coloured water to explore mixing, as well as clay.
On Monday, we begun to make our name crowns!
This required children to concrete and transfer knowledge from what they have seen, using their name tag for reference when needed. They need to follow multiple step instructions to complete the task, before they could become a kindy king or queen
